Biography of Dr. Xavier Lachiver - Facial and Neck Surgeon:

Born in Saint-Germain en Laye in 1962 to Breton parents, Dr. Xavier LACHIVER began his medical studies in Paris at the Xavier Bichat Faculty in 1981. Accepted into the Paris internship program in 1985, he specialized in ENT and then cervicofacial surgery, he continued after 5 years with a position as Clinical Assistant at the hospitals at Saint-Antoine Hospital in the department of Professor Chouard (1990-1991) and then at Foch Hospital in the department of Professor Frèche and then Professor Chabolle (1992-1993) where he was an assistant for 25 years.

A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine in PARIS, awarded for his thesis on the morpho-cephalometric particularities of patients suffering from sleep apnea, Dr. Xavier LACHIVER has specialized in plastic and aesthetic facial and neck surgery and in the management of patients suffering from respiratory problems (sinus disorders, snoring and sleep apnea), in aesthetic rhinoplasty and in facial feminization (FFS).

Author of numerous articles in specialized journals and speaker at many conferences, Dr. Xavier Lachiver is a member of several national and international learned societies. He participated in the working group on national recommendations for the management of "aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty" (link to ARH website). He is a member of the RESPECTRANS association.
